SHIPPENSBURG >> Police have released the name of the individual charged in the stabbing death of a Shippensburg man on Saturday.
Nolan Michael Burke, 25, Chambersburg was charged with criminal homicide after police found Christian Paffos, 22, Shippensburg dead in the 300 block of East Neff Avenue Saturday around 9:55 p.m.
Cumberland County Coroner Charles Hall said he was called to the scene, where he declared Paffos dead.
Shortly after the stabbing, Burke voluntarily walked to the Shippensburg Police Station to be interviewed and was charged, according to police.
An official autopsy for Paffos has been scheduled for Tuesday, May 27 at Dauphin County Forensics Center, Hall said Sunday afternoon.
A preliminary hearing for Burke has been scheduled for June 2 at 9:30 a.m. with Judge Elizabeth Beckley, according to court documents.
