SHIPPENSBURG – A Mechanicsburg man was arrested after police said he was too intoxicated to find his way out of a Shippensburg building where he was trespassing.
Pennsylvania State Police, Carlisle, said Patrick Charles Koch, 21, entered Domestic Casting’s property on North Queen Street Thursday around 12:30 a.m. and allegedly took a pipe and began breaking windows in a building.
Police said he then continued through the buildings and became “trapped” as he was too intoxicated to find his way out of the plastic doorway. According to police, he began to yell “let me out” and used the pipe to bang on a wall in a machine room, where he was found by workers at the plant.
Koch was arrested and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing April 8 on burglary, public drunkenness and other charges.
