FRANKLIN COUNTY — More than four years later, a man has told police that a Chambersburg man molested him for several years.

Rolin Mendoza Adams, 22, of 1986 Philadelphia Ave., Lot 15, is expected in Franklin County Central Court on Tuesday for a preliminary hearing on charges of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, aggravated indecent assault and indecent assault.

The victim, name withheld by police, told police in June that the alleged crimes occurred in the area of 1020 Mainsville Road, according to the affidavit of probable cause filed on Jan. 16.

He told police that when he was 11 to 14 years old, Adams, who was also a juvenile at that time, molested him while he was sleeping from 2005 to 2008, the affidavit states.

There were five or six incidents, the victim said, that took place while they were sleeping in their room together, the affidavit states. The victim’s relationship to Adams was not explained.

During the incidents, they would be sleeping on opposite ends of a sectional couch in their room, the affidavit states. Adams would then come over and touch the boy inappropriately.

Adams would then allegedly pull the boy’s pants down before fondling and penetrating him with various body parts, the affidavit states.

Police interviewed Adams on June 17, when he recalled the incidents and other similar scenarios in which he approached the boy “with sexual interests” and touched him inappropriately, the affidavit states.

While the incidents took place while the boy was sleeping, Adams told police he never penetrated the boy with an object or any part of his body, the affidavit states.
