SHIPPENSBURG — Kyle Robbins, 24, Mount Bethel, was arrested on Sunday after an altercation with a baton, according to Shippensburg Police.
Robbins was fighting with another male on North Earl Street on Sunday around 12:15 a.m. and reportedly left and went to his vehicle and obtained an expandable baton, returned and then struck the male on the side of the head, according to police.
Police arrived and arrested Robbins, finding the baton on the passenger side of his vehicle. In addition, a small amount of marijuana and a drug pipe were found.
Police report he was charged with simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, possessing an instrument of a crime, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and public drunkenness.
