State police cite 16 for underage drinking, public drunkenness

SHIPPENSBURG – State police had a busy weekend in Shippensburg, citing more than a dozen people for underage drinking and public drunkenness.

Robert Atwell, 21, West Chester, was cited for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness after police said he was found walking down the middle of Hot Point Avenue Saturday around 1:49 a.m.

Christian Kuter, 21, Shippensburg, was cited for public drunkenness and housing of dogs not part of a kennel after his dog was found loose on North Earl Street and King Street Saturday around 4:15 a.m. Police said when the dog was returned to Kuter, he was allegedly belligerent and “severely intoxicated.”

Cody L. Tyson, 19; Daniel R. Vantrieste, 18; and Drew A. Moscow, 20; will be cited for underage drinking, according to police. Troopers stopped their designated driver for driving on Richard Avenue without his lights on Saturday at 1 a.m.

Dillan Michael Miller, 20, and Sydney Jean Strine, 19, both of York, were cited for underage drinking Friday evening on Kenneth Avenue, Shippensburg Township.

Alexander Surakov Bolte, 21, West Chester, was cited for public drunkenness after police allege he stumbled into the street at Richard and Queen Street Friday evening.

Mary Alexandra Paterson, 20, will be cited for underage drinking after police said she was staggering across the courtyard of Madison Apartments Saturday around 12:30 a.m. Police said she admitted to drinking four screwdrivers.

Andrew Tyler Dissinger, 18, and Mark Wesley Sourber, 19, will be cited for underage drinking after police said Dissinger was staggering in the alley on Coover Avenue towards High Street Saturday around 12:30 a.m. Police said he urinated on himself and had slurred speech and admitted to drinking six beers. Sourber was with him and allegedly admitted to drinking 10 beers.

Marc Anthony Ranaudo, 18, Milford, was cited for underage consumption after police said he was seen carrying an open can of beer down the street at Richard and High Street Saturday evening.

Luke Edward Stiffler, 20, York, and Jacob Dakota Kimble, 19, of Georgia, were charged for underage drinking after Kimble was allegedly seen vomiting in the parking lot of Britton Court Apartments Saturday night. Police said both admitted to drinking four or five shots of Captain Morgan. Kimble was also charged with public drunkenness.

Frederick Horstman Riggins, 18, Phoenixville, was charged with underage drinking Saturday evening at 41 Richard Ave,. Shippensburg Township.

Brian Andrew Doogan, 18, Havertown, was charged with underage drinking Friday evening at 232 High St., Shippensburg.

Shippensburg Police also charged Branden Beard, 21, with public drunkenness after officers allegedly saw him staggering near the roadway at East Fort Street and Shamar Avenue around 2 a.m.Sunday.
